Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the STEM Plus Art website (the "Service") provided by us. Your access to and use of the Service is contingent upon your acceptance and adherence to these Terms. They apply to all visitors, tutors, students, and others who intend to access or use the Service. ​ By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you do not have permission to access the Service. ​ We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions at any time and for any reason. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms and Conditions on the Site. Please review the Terms periodically to stay informed of updates.

Liability ⚖️ ​

We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service or its contents. Our scope is strictly limited to online communication regarding music and scheduling music tutoring sessions. Any activities outside this scope, including video chat and email coordination, are beyond our responsibility, and we cannot be held liable for damages. Each tutor is a volunteer independent of us. We are not responsible for interactions between tutors and students. Parents are responsible for monitoring these interactions. ​ We assume no responsibility for errors or omissions in the Service's contents. Participation in the project is at your own risk. ​

User Agreement 🤝

Parents are responsible for monitoring interactions between tutors and students. Tutors must be 16 - 24 years old and obtain parental consent, if under the age of (18). Students must be enrolled in a Title I elementary or middle school, and parents guarantee the accuracy of provided information. ​ Users must not abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate, or intimidate others. We reserve the right to remove tutors from the website with or without reason and have the right to monitor and edit user-provided content. ​

Tutoring Session Policy 🖥 

Requested session lengths are a maximum of half an hour, subject to the tutor's discretion. Only one tutoring session can be requested per week, and for piano, students are limited to one tutor. We recommend booking lessons at least (3) days in advance. If more than one student requests a session time, it goes to the first requester. All sessions are subject to tutor availability, and we are not responsible for any cancellations. ​

Privacy 🔐 

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as outlined in our privacy policies. All data exchanged outside our platform, including email coordination, is not our responsibility, and participation is at your own risk.
